I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Utah David Eccles Schools of Business. My research seeks to understand how firms raise and allocate capital, with a focus on financial policy, capital structure, credit ratings, and employee compensation.
When I’m not researching or teaching, I’m spending time with friends and family. You can find me at the climbing gym, chess club, local tennis courts, or biking around town.
Prior my PhD studies at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, I worked in investment banking at Citigroup in New York City. I completed my undergraduate studies at University of Pennsylvania, with a BS in Statistics from the Wharton School and a BA in Economics from the College of Arts and Sciences.
